AEL FC LTD announces the completion, joint consent, of the cooperation with Vassilis Papafotis.
Vassilis has been a very important player for AEL since he first came to the team in 2020, offering with dedication and professionalism both on and off the pitch. In particularly difficult periods for our team, he stood at the forefront, proudly wearing the captain's armband and representing with dignity and ethos the Limassol Athletic Association.
The relationship that developed over the years goes beyond the limits of a simple partnership. As a family of AEL, we stood by Vassilis and the most difficult moments of his football career, especially during his recovery after the serious injury he suffered, just as he stood by the team in every challenge and ordeal.
We express our sincere thanks to Vassilis Papafotis for everything he offered with the emblem of AEL on the chest and wish him every success in the continuation of his football and personal life.
