Starting Monday, July 13, 2026, single and\/or double training sessions will begin daily at the AEL Training Center and will be held behind closed doors. At the same time, before the team's departure abroad for the main preparation stage, three friendly games will be held:<br\/><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">- Wednesday, 22\/07 vs Karmiotissa Polemidion (AEL Training Ground)<br\/> - Saturday, 25\/07 vs Olympiacos Nicosia (Parekklisia Community Stadium)<br\/> - Wednesday, 29\/07 vs Omonia Aradippou (Aradippou Community Stadium)<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As for the main stage of preparation, it will begin on August 1, 2026 when the team will travel to the Sielanka Sport Centre in Poland for approximately two weeks. During the stay in Poland, three friendly matches will be held, aiming to provide the best possible preparation for the new season:<br\/><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">- Wednesday, 05\/08 vs Atromitos Athens<br\/> - Saturday, 08\/08 vs Vinjef Lodz<br\/> - Tuesday, 11\/08 vs Polonia Warsaw<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our team will return to Cyprus on August 12, 2026 and will play two more friendly matches until the start of the championship which is scheduled for August 29-30, 2026:<br\/><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">- Wednesday, 19\/08, vs Anorthosis (\u201cAntonis Papadopoulos\u201d Stadium)<br\/> - Saturday, 22\/08: \u201cALPHAMEGA\u201d Stadium (opponent team to be announced at a later stage)<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More information and details regarding the friendly games and the team's preparation will be announced at regular intervals.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Press &amp; Communication Office<br\/> AEL FC LTD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The company AEL FC LTD informs about the start and schedule of the summer preparation ahead of the new 2026-2027 season.
